Plasmatic | Sapphire Blue Jelly Nail Polish with Cyan Illumination, Violet-Pink Shift & Aqua Flakes- Liquid Krystal Co. Handmade Indie Lacquer
Plasmatic is a vivid cerulean-blue jelly-crelly that builds from a bright, almost electric blue in thinner layers to a saturated sapphire-cobalt at full opacity.
Suspended throughout the blue base are countless luminous aqua and electric-blue microflakes, joined by scattered flashes of violet, indigo, and hot pink.
A powerful violet-to-fuchsia shimmer moves across the surface in concentrated bands, creating the appearance of glowing purple energy traveling beneath the blue.
In softer or indirect lighting, Plasmatic appears smooth and deeply sapphire with a fine blue-violet sparkle.
Under sunlight, flash, or other direct illumination, the finish erupts into brilliant cyan, ultraviolet purple, and magenta-pink fire.
Its translucent base keeps the shimmer and flakes visible at multiple depths, creating a charged, fluid appearance rather than a flat metallic finish.
The Color Story
Plasma exists beyond the familiar boundaries of solid, liquid, and gas—a state of matter transformed by energy until it begins to glow.
Plasmatic captures that transformation in color: vivid blue matter charged with cyan light, violet current, and flickering fragments of magenta energy.
Calm and sapphire in the shadows, it becomes brilliantly electrified whenever it meets the light.
Polish Details:
Color: Bright cerulean blue building to saturated sapphire-cobalt
Effect: Violet-to-fuchsia shifting shimmer with luminous aqua, electric-blue, purple, and pink microflakes
Finish: Deep, multidimensional jelly-crelly shimmer with a plasma-like glow
Coverage: Buildable in 2–3 coats
Application:
Apply 2–3 thin, even coats, allowing each layer to dry before applying the next. One coat creates a translucent electric-blue wash with visible flakes. Two coats deepen the color while maintaining some luminous transparency. Three coats create full opacity, a saturated sapphire-cobalt finish, and the strongest violet-to-fuchsia shift.
Finish with a glossy top coat to smooth the microflakes, intensify the layered shimmer, and create a glass-like shine.
Plasmatic may also be worn in one thin coat over another polish as a color-transforming layer. Over pale or sparkling shades, it creates an icy periwinkle-blue effect. Over green or darker colors, it produces deeper gradients of cobalt, and violet.
Pigments and microflakes may naturally settle between uses. Shake thoroughly before application to redistribute the formula evenly.
Small-Batch Polish:
Plasmatic is mixed and poured by hand in small batches by Liquid Krystal Co. Slight variations may occur between batches due to the handmade process and are part of the character of independently crafted nail lacquer.
Lighting Note:
Photos were taken in a variety of lighting conditions to show the full range of this polish. Color, depth, shimmer, and shifting effects may appear different depending on lighting, viewing angle, surroundings, skin tone, number of coats, underlying color, and individual screen settings.
