Aetherdust is a sheer, buildable silver holographic nail lacquer scattered with multichrome chameleon flakes, creating an airy constellation of shifting color over the nail.

An abundance of ultra-fine holographic sparkle forms the luminous foundation, flashing tiny spectral rainbows as the light moves, while irregular chameleon flakes punctuate the finish with flashes of violet, magenta, blue, teal, green and occasional warmer tones.

The result is intentionally dimensional rather than densely opaque—like crushed prisms and microscopic shards of color floating through crystalline aether.

1 coat: a delicate veil of holographic sparkle with scattered color-shifting fragments.

2 coats: increased sparkle and flake coverage while remaining beautifully sheer.

3 coats: a more developed silvery holographic haze with noticeably richer dimensional sparkle and multichrome flashes.

Because of its translucent construction, Aetherdust can also be experimented with as a sparkling layer over other nail colors, allowing the base shade beneath to influence the finished effect.

✨ Color Story

At first glance, Aetherdust appears almost colorless—an icy scattering of silver light. Then the fragments begin to shift. Violet becomes electric pink. Blue flashes into teal and green. Tiny rainbows ignite throughout the holographic dust before disappearing again with the angle of the light.

No single color owns Aetherdust. Light does.

The effect is ethereal, crystalline and strangely meditative—like watching particles of light suspended in the aether.

Aetherdust is part of the Liquid Krystal Co. handmade lacquer line, created in small batches rather than as a one-of-a-kind development prototype.

Small-batch production means subtle variation in flake placement and appearance from bottle to bottle is natural and part of the character of an artisan lacquer.

Chameleon flakes and holographic particles are highly reflective and can appear dramatically different depending on lighting, viewing angle, camera settings, surrounding colors, and individual screen displays. Photos taken under multiple lighting conditions are used to represent the shifting finish as accurately as possible.

Application Tip: Larger flakes may settle between uses. Roll or gently shake the bottle before application to redistribute the sparkling elements throughout the lacquer.
