Black Ice Bloom is a nearly black, midnight-blue lacquer illuminated from within by an icy cobalt shimmer and scattered crystalline sparkle.

In softer light, the shade settles into an extremely deep blackened navy—dark, glossy, and almost shadowlike. As stronger light reaches the surface, the darkness begins to open, revealing a concentrated blue-violet glow that seems to bloom through the center of the polish.

Under direct light and sunlight, Black Ice Bloom becomes dramatically more dimensional. Electric cobalt and sapphire-blue shimmer flare against the near-black base while tiny violet, pink, silver, and occasional prismatic points flicker across the surface like fragments of light trapped beneath ice.

The contrast is the heart of the shade.

The blackened base represents the slick, almost bottomless darkness of black ice, while the intense blue illumination becomes the bloom—cold color emerging unexpectedly from beneath something that first appeared nearly black.

Rather than covering the darkness, the shimmer seems to live inside it. At some angles it is barely visible; at others, the entire surface ignites in frozen blue.

Due to the multidimensional nature of this lacquer, its appearance can vary substantially with lighting, viewing angle, skin tone, number of coats, and individual screen settings. As with many shimmer-heavy indie lacquers, some settling may occur during storage. Gently roll the bottle between your palms before use if needed.
